Does your pet have a microchip?

01.What is a microchip?

02.Animal sin when struck?

03. Advantages of dog microchiping  ?

04. Disadvantages of Dog Microchiping ?

Today we are going to talk about these 04 parts very briefly

01.What is a microchip?

A tiny chip inserted into their body

02.Animal sin when struck?

This is how we vaccinate the corona, why "die"

If you ask me one story after another.

It hurts to be stabbed, to be hurt for the rest of our lives, to have a wound there, to feel like there is a new medicine inside our body for the rest of our lives.

In America, people have been chipped. In the future, the brain will have more memory and the human brain will be able to make a chip. 2045 will be given to people.

03. Advantages of dog microchiping  ?

There are a number of different reasons why owners turn to microchiping rather than traditional identities such as tags and collars.

Confidential identity card that cannot be damaged or tampered with

Unlike removable tags and collars, when an animal is stolen, the thief does not know it because the microchip is inserted under the skin. They are about the size of a grain of rice (grain)  and it is difficult to find the exact location of the chip that was once inserted. The thief can't find it by squeezing it.

Similarly, there is no way to obtain a microchip ID. A pet with a collar or tag can have its personal information replaced by a cunning thief, and the ID number data stored on the microchip cannot be altered.

"Microchiping is a painless procedure"

Many owners naturally worry that placing a microchip in their dog's body will cause harm. In fact,  the procedure of inserting a microchip  takes a second and  does not require anesthesia The chip is injected between the shoulder blades and your dog feels nothing.

The microchip never needs replacement

There are no working parts, the chip remains inactive until it is connected to a scanner, it is completely secure and does not need to be replaced during your pet's lifetime.

Your personal information is secure

We live in an age where identity theft is a real problem. Fortunately, the personal information you share when you pet your pet microchip is very secure. No data other than the unique reference number is stored on the chip itself, and this is in a database where the microchip provider in Sri Lanka has secured the secret number. Only authorized parties have access to this information.

04. Disadvantages of Dog Microchiping ?

While there are no real disadvantages to dog microchiping, there are a few things you should be aware of about the procedure.

A microchip is not a GPS!

Contrary to many people's beliefs, a microchip is not a GPS location. This means that it can not be used to find out if your dog is missing. The chip is RFID and can be read by a microchip scanner, but only after your pet has been detected.

There is very little risk to your pet's health

There are several reports of inflammation around the injection site, which pose a minimal risk to your dog's health and well-being.

This is mainly because inflammation is involved in the development of cancer.

However, many veterinarians agree that the benefits of  microchiping far outweigh the risks.
